Life Skills:

The APA Post Grad Life Skills program empowers students to navigate their career goals and master essential skills for independent living during the college transition phase. We equip students with practical knowledge in managing personal finances, household responsibilities, and self-care, essential for a successful college experience. Through our supportive environment, students develop meaningful friendships, gain confidence in social interactions, and build a positive social network.

Our comprehensive Life Skills support includes teaching students how to budget, manage finances, operate a bank account, maintain personal hygiene, and prioritize health and wellness. APA guides students through every aspect of transitioning to independent living, whether in apartments or team housing with roommates. Additionally, we educate students on community resources and provide guidance on real-life college situations, helping them make informed decisions.

Above all, APA fosters the judgment and skills necessary for students to thrive in college and beyond, ensuring they are well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities of independent adulthood.”
