Student Housing

WHAT ARE THE LIVING CONDITIONS?

Boarding student-athletes reside in one of our five residential dorm-style housing facilities, offering a wide range of living arrangements to suit different preferences. For those seeking a more private setting, we offer 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment units per-availability, while larger, more spacious accommodations are available for those who enjoy a more communal social environment, we have spacious dorm style shared 7-bedroom, 7-bathroom units, each with a full kitchen and laundry facilities for all residents. In all communal residential housing facilities, Residential Assistants (RAs) oversee the student’s daily upkeep and ensure that the needs of the residents are met, providing a supportive environment for all students, except those in private units.

STUDENT MEALS AND PREPARATION?

Each housing facility is stocked with a variety of food options, with a focus on providing a balanced meal that includes a protein, starch, and vegetable for residents to choose from. The APA Road to Independence program is designed to empower student-athletes by enhancing their culinary and life skills, preparing them for sustainable careers and independent living. Meals are prepared by the residents individually, encouraging self-sufficiency and supporting their journey toward independence. This approach helps students develop essential skills, better preparing them for the transition to college life.
